Description

Tsakanos Traditional Sirma: Klima which is the biggest fishing village of the Milos island has “sirmata”, rare buildings in Greece with characteristic architecture.

A “sirma” according to the locals is a place that is dug in soft rock and looks like a small caves. Their role was to protect the boats from the strong winter winds. As time passed though, a “sirma” became a permanent residence for fishermen or a summer house for the locals without losing its character. They stand right next to the sea or one to two meters away from it and it is painted with bright colors (red, green, yellow, brown, blue).

Our traditional villa – Tsakanos “Sirma” – in Klima has two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a sitting room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and storage. On the first floor, you will find a second sitting room, a bedroom with sea-view, a toilet with shower and a balcony with a beautiful sea-view. Also, you will find another bedroom with a view of the sea in the loft of the sitting room.
