Take the opportunity to visit the Abandoned Sulphur Mines of Milos, swim, and enjoy the marvelous colors of the beach! The mines were operational as early as 1958 when they were abandoned overnight, which is visible as you can still see the mattresses and some personal belongings of the workers. The infrastructure is a unique sample of industrial architecture of the mid-30s.
